What you'll be watching this weekend: 9-11 August 2019
Always Be Watching is written by Dan Barrett who is fast as lightning
Having seen the series debut of BH90210, a quasi humorous take on the actors from 90210 reuniting to work on a reboot series, I don’t think I could in good conscience advise that you watch it. But you probably will anyway.
It wasn’t entertaining enough to think of it as car crash television.
Something I haven’t seen yet is Wu Assassins, but I plan to correct that ASAP. This is a martial arts actioner starring Iko Uwais who starred in the outstanding The Raid films. If you’ve seen either of those films, that should be enough to have you pressing play on this.
Preacher (s4), Cable Girls (s4), GLOW (s2)
BH90210 - Fox (US)
Having gone their separate ways since the original series ended 19 years ago, the cast of Beverly Hills, 90210 reunites when one of them suggests it's time to get a Beverly Hills, 90210 reboot up and running. But getting it going might make for an even more delicious soap than the reboot itself.

Wu Assassins - Netflix (US)
An unassuming San Francisco chef becomes the latest in a long line of assassins chosen to keep the mystical Wu powers out of the wrong hands. He’s on a mission to save Chinatown, even if it means killing his own father. It is Kung Fu meets sci-fi meets Asian street food.
Sintonia - Netflix (Brazil)
Childhood friends Nando, Doni and Rita take different paths in their teens, but despite trying to distance themselves from their Sao Paulo, Brazil, backgrounds, they ultimately must rely on one another to avoid self-destruction.
